Outside In

Outside In is a top down action RPG based on the Dresden Files. In this 4 player co-op game, you and 3 others take control of a rag tag group of Chicago residents who have been summoned together for unknown reasons. You will fight through hordes and different factions of the supernatural, holy, demonic, eldritch, and mystical. As you grow in power you may learn that not everything is as it seems

Story (Spoilers)

This band of survivors that would have no business working together have been called by a higher power with the mission of protecting Chicago from those who seek its destruction. Little do they know that their mission was not what it seemed, their guide had a nefarious plan and using these characters they plan to remove their biggest threat to their plans. As you clear through the sewers and meet the boss at the end, it is revealed that it was actually Harry Dresden that you just killed and were manipulated into opening Chicago up to the danger and influence of the Outsiders who seek the destruction of the world.

Characters 

• John Files - A Chicago secret service agent that seemingly has an infinite supply of weapons. His years of experience allows him to be proficient in almost any weapon he picks up.
• Gabriel Thorne - When the previous wielder of Esperacchius, the Sword of Hope, was deemed unworthy, Heaven fell silent. For years, the blade lay dormant — until Gabriel Thorne,  a man of steadfast faith and unyielding compassion, took up the mantle. Unlike his predecessors, his calling was not to battle evil directly, but to walk among it.
• Eira Vale - A brilliant historian, Eira accidentally bound herself to a Fallen while cataloging relics. She fights to prove she can control the darkness she carries.
• Captain Kayko - Once the fearsome captain of the Crimsonreach Pirates, Kayco’s reign ended on her doomed 1000th raid. Brought back by forces unknown, she now defends the Chicago sewers with undead resolve and the fury of a legend who refuses to stay buried.
• Darius Holt - A former White Council’s finest guardian of the Outer Gate, he carries the scars of a lifetime spent fighting what no wizard is meant to face. He believes the Gatekeeper still speaks through him — that his “disgrace” is part of a larger plan.
